Chrome-based tables: Originally taken from '70s chairs, the chrome frame provides a low-slung base for these coffee tables. The reclaimed teak or support-beam tops float just above the frame to give the illusion of lightness.
Chunky coffee table: Made from heavy three-inch thick joists, the top is created with finger joints through which the legs are cut. The opposing grains help to exaggerate the table's structural features.
